Two matches to report on, the first team emulate the reserves and
go top of their league and hopefully thats were they will stay,
winning 9v0 against Waringstown to record the clubs highest ever
score at senior level.The U16's drew with Lurgan Town after being
two nil up.for reports and scorers go to their individual pages.Tomorrow

The U18's continued their winning run beating Sunnyside U17's 7v3
after being 3v1 down at halftime.The third round of the Marshall
Cup has been drawn with City away to either Ballyoran,Lurgan Institute
or St Marys. Tomorrow night we are away to Waringstown were nothing
other than a win would suffice the ever hungry City Fans. |

Craigavon City First team and reserves both gained 3 points in their
respective leagues today, the first team winning 4v2 at home to
Lambeg Star and the reserves winning 3v1 away to Mowhan Utd. Lets
hope we can both maintain our present form and push on for the season.

Craigavon City U18s played against Goodyear Res today and totally
dominated the game running out 6v2 winner, Michael Rowney notching
3 goals with Sean Devlin,Michael Carson and Marty O'Hagan scoring
the others.This squad looks very strong this season so will be hoping
to improve on last years league position.U16's are playing Armagh
City this saturday at Ardmore also then the 1st team play Lambeg
Star at Lismore, lets have a good crowd there as usual to cheer
the lads on, The reserves play there first match v Mowhan Utd also.. |

First match of the season got off to a flyer against Division three
team Ashley winning 4v2 in the Marshall Cup, Goals from Niall Devlin,Roy
McGrath,Rikki Harvey and Sean McConville sent the Craigavon City
crowd home happy and also the lads into the next round of the cup,
who knows who they will get in the next round but realistically
Saturdays match at home to Lambeg Star in the league means much
more as promotion is the priority. |
